The Hope Family Services Marriage & Family Center's mission is to promote the common good and general welfare of the people of the community. This is accomplished by providing Counseling and Educational Programs that are needed to enhance the individual's quality of life, prepare couples for marriage, to strengthen families & marriages and to save troubled marriages.

COUNSELING

SOLUTION-ORIENTED COUNSELING
For Individuals, Couples, Children, Teens and Families. We believe people have the ability to change and grow; even small changes can lead to big changes. Our Counselors are skilled at helping people get to the heart of the problem and find solutions rather than just talking about the problems. With the help of the Counselor, people become experts in problems solving and creating future solutions. This is a results focused approach.

EMDR-EYE MOVEMENT DESENSITIZATION & REPROCESSING
EMDR is a technique that uses guided eye movement or bilateral tapping while the client is verbally guided to accelerate treatment of a variety of psychological problems. EMDR is effective with general anxiety, trauma recovery, phobias, abuse recovery, chronic pain, PTSD, accident recovery, depression & stress, relationship issues & performance anxiety. EMDR can safely be used with children, teens and adults.

TFT-THOUGHT FIELD THERAPY
An approach that uses the mind, body and emotions (thought fields) of the body to "tap" into nature's healing system. There are no side effects and you don't have to retell events. It is rapid and effective. Client's tap with their fingertips on treatment points in specific sequences while thinking of triggering stressors. TFT is very effective with anxiety, fear, anger, addictions, trauma, PTSD, depression and intimacy problems.

Insurances often cover a portion of the counseling fee. An adjusted fee may be available. Payment/co-payment by cash or check at time of services is requested.

PERSONALITY INVENTORIES

Do you know what makes you "tick" or what makes you unique? Are you aware of what your full potential is and how you can maximize it? One of the fastest ways to learn more about how you are is to complete a Personality Inventory. Our Counselors and Life Coaches are trained to administer and provide feedback for a variety of formal Inventories. PREPPARE/ENRICH Inventories are most often done face-to-face. For some Coaching may be a suitable alternative to Counseling. Coaching focuses on change, discovering solutions and achieving your goals. Coaching at it's best is a cooperative relationship that focuses on client desired results. Pathway Coaches offer help for individuals who finds themselves stuck & not making the changes they want. Our Coaches also offer Marital Coaching to help couples salvage their Marriages and Premarital Coaching for couples to start out on the right foot. The Coaching relationship is one that:

Individual Coaching Consultation
The fee for a 45-minute confidential telephone Coaching Consultation with a Pathway Coach is $75.00. Worksheets are included.

Premarital Coaching-"Planning a Marriage for a Lifetime"
Includes PREPARE Personality Inventory, notebook with worksheets and three sessions. May be scheduled over a 6-month period prior to Wedding. Includes discount for a PREP/CPREP Workshop. ($299.00)

Marital Coaching-"Marriage for a Lifetime"
Includes ENRICH Inventory, notebook with worksheets and three sessions and discount for a PREP Workshop. ($299.00)

Confidentiality- Our Coaches recognize that the coaching client may have future plans, business concerns and personal & private information that may be discussed in a coaching session. A confidentiality statement will be made available when a Coaching Agreement is made.
